Ceren Dabag

Istanbul-based Ceren Dabag weaves stories of tradition and human interaction with contrasting materials and techniques to create involving designs

After studying product design at Istanbul’s Yeditepe University and Prague’s Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, Ceren interned in Los Angeles, in the design departments of high-end lighting companies Lenbran and Yamagiwa USA. With dreams of setting up her own design company, Ceren then returned to Istanbul and completed an entrepreneurship programme.

Having recently interned with design magazines Frame Turkey and Tasarim [Design], Ceren continues to work as a freelance lighting and furniture designer, producing exciting, dynamic and flexible works rooted in story and tradition.
